We have just received exciting news from Nextant that our 400XP is expected to be completed and back into service on December 15th 2014 just in time for Christmas season. When Moser Aviation's very own 400XP comes back into service it will be nothing short of the latest and greatest in light business class jet technology. She will be returning to us as one of the first Nextant aircraft available for charter in the mid west and for the most part the whole United States.
As production on the Hawker 400XP came to a end in 2011 Beechjet/ Hawker 400A & 400XP became the perfect platform in which to remanufacture and employ the latest technology which includes 60 engineering modifications, replacement of 40 time controlled components , Fadec- controlled Williams FJ44-3AP engines, Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 avionics flight deck and Nextant designed carbon fiber winglets. In addition to all the upgrades which equals about 6000 man hours, N302TB will undergo in compliance with FAA regulations it’s A, B, C and D check inspections as well as all FAA airworthiness directives.
With performance enormously improved High/Hot/Heavy situations in the Rocky Mountains have become a problem of the past. The performance improvements come mostly from the Williams FJ44-3AP which weigh less than the standard Pratt & Whitney engines but also produce 3,050 pounds of thrust each. This extends the 400s range 50% pushing its endurance to 2000 nautical miles and drops the operating cost 30% with average reduction in fuel burn between 20 to 25 percent. This make traveling from coast to coast on a light jet all possible.
All of these upgrades wouldn’t be the same without upgrades to the interior and exterior of the jet. A new interior which includes seats, headliner, wood trim, galley, air show, available wifi, larger tables and club seating with considerably more leg room for four large men. Along with the new interior and upgrades this 400XP will also have additional 2.5 inches of height and 3 inches in width from a standard Hawker 400. New sound insulation will reduce cabin noise to 66db in conjunction with the quieter engines and insulation.
With nothing but positive feedback from Nextant 400XTi owners, pilots and passengers we are thrilled to welcome the Nextant 400XTi to Denver/Centennial Colorado charter market for your travel demands. So next time your in Aspen looking for heavy jet performance but only want to pay light jet pricing, see what Moser Aviation and our 400XTi can do for you.
